About the Author, Lennart Sjögren

hunthspace=10Lennart Sjögren, born in 1930, he´s both a poet and a painter. One of Sweden's foremost poets and he has a faithful community of readers. He grew up on Öland and lives on a farm who´s been in the family for generations.

About the Translator, Göran Malmqvist

hunthspace=10LGöran Malmqvist was born on 6 June 1924 in Jönköping, Sweden. Following introductory studies of Chinese under Sinologist Bernhard Karlgren at Stockholm University, Malmqvist studied in China in 1948–1950. ...
